In the past, I had Norton's 2007 as my last version on the computer.
twice in the past four days (at irregular times but only when the computer was left on for more than four hours) my "Norton's" activated and started to run files similar to the way the real Norton's runs when you are scanning your HD.
For whatever reason, ESET never caught this when I first installed it but.(I don't know why and I am not trying to insinuate that ESET wasn't (or isn't) that good). I already activated it and it took care of things - I thought! I installed ESET instead.
I already have gone to Symantec's Website and downloaded the removal tool.
